My Top 30 Most Anticipated Films of 2011: Part 3

From F-H...
Friends with Benefits
UK release date: 2nd September 2011
Genre: Comedy, Romance

IMDb summary: The relationship between two friends gets complicated when they decide to get romantic.
Starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis are coming from two of the biggest films of 2010: The Social Network and Black Swan, respectively. FwB seems like a good old-fashioned rom-com, with some great acting talent and laugh-out-loud lines. Love it.

The Future
UK release date: TBA
Genre: Drama

IMDb summary: When a couple decides to adopt a stray cat their perspective on life changes radically, literally altering the course of time and space and testing their faith in each other and themselves.

Not many details have been released about this film, except that it is a product of Miranda July, (writing, directing and starring) so Indie lovers won’t want to miss it. Based on an intriguing premise, I look forward to finding out more about The Future.

Hanna
UK release date: 8th April 2011
Genre: Action, Adventure, Thriller
IMDb summary: A 16-year-old who was raised by her father to be the perfect assassin is dispatched on a mission across Europe, tracked by a ruthless intelligence agent and her operatives.
From the director of Atonement and Pride & Prejudice, Saorise Ronan stars as the title character, (along with Cate Blanchett and Eric Bana) Hanna.
A very impressive trailer with incredible acting - this is very different to any film I’ve seen for a long time: something magical to look forward to.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2
UK release date: 15th July 2011
Genre: Adventure, Fantasy, Mystery
IMDb summary: The end begins as Harry, Ron, and Hermione go back to Hogwarts to find and destroy Voldemorts final horcruxes...

No Trailer Released Yet.

All good things must come to end, as the Harry Potter franchise draws to a close. Half the fans of the series are eagerly awaiting the final installment, while the other half probably don’t want to see it end. Either way there’s no doubting that the Harry Potter crew will pull out all the stops for Harry’s last outing. Unmissable.

The Help
US release date: 12th August 2011
Genre: Drama
IMDb summary: A look at what happens when a southern town's unspoken code of rules and behavior is shattered by three courageous women who strike up an unlikely friendship.

No Trailer Released Yet.

With Emma Stone starring, I’m sure this will be a brilliantly acted, movingly funny film. At least I hope so. The premise is good, and hopefully not much can go wrong from script to screen. If it works, it could be a beauty.
