My Recent TV Obsessions...

I am one of those people that bounce from one fantastic boxset to the next and am always gripped with obsession for one show or another. 
Recently there have been so many great shows (both being broadcast now and from days gone by) that my desk is piled high with them and my internet constantly streaming from iPlayer, 4OD and LoveFilm. 
So where to begin? Below is a list, in no particular order, of fantastic shows that I could not live without at the moment...

Community
Definitely one of the funniest shows on the box right now I've sailed through season 1 in a matter of days - it's just so addictive! Season 2 has been ordered and is on it's way!

The families are linked by the spirit of a young girl – the 1960’s family’s daughter who died in mysterious circumstances.  It’s a brand new five-part drama from ITV Studios written for ITV by Stephen Greenhorn (Glasgow Kiss, Doctor Who).

National Television Awards

The NTA’s were broadcast live last night on ITV and there were many surprise winners. 
I am big fans of both Doctor Who and Sherlock and was pretty sure that either one of them had it in the bag. I was shocked that the public didn’t recognise them, but hopefully the BAFTAs will produce the results that the programmes deserve.

BRIT Awards 2011: Nominations

The BRIT Awards have become bigger and bigger each year since it started in 1977. They are important in celebrating British artists and their musical achievements over the course of the year. 
“The 68 nominations reflect all that is popular and credible in British music right now and sees the country’s most exciting, original and talented artists all up for the most coveted statue in The BRITs’ 30-year history, exclusively restyled for 2011 by Vivienne Westwood.” 

Last night the 2011 BRIT award nominations where released at the Launch party in The O2 which will be broadcast on ITV2 at 8pm.
Dominating the nominations are Tinie Tempah (4), Plan B (3), The XX (3) and Mumford & Sons (3). 
The voting is now open for these categories...
