IMDb Plot Summary: Bruce Nolan, a television reporter in Buffalo, N.Y., is discontented with almost everything in life despite his popularity and the love of his girlfriend Grace. At the end of the worst day of his life, Bruce angrily ridicules and rages against God and God responds. God appears in human form and, endowing Bruce with divine powers, challenges Bruce to take on the big job to see if he can do it any better.
A Quick Review: I think we all know Bruce Almighty. Hilarious, brilliant and clever with the performance of his career: the mighty Jim Carrey. He makes every second completely entertaining and just makes this film.
Morgan Freeman will forever be ‘God’ in fans of the films eyes. And he encapsulates the role perfectly with a charm and hints of genius behind the eyes. Jennifer Aniston is great as the put-upon girlfriend and Steve Carrell’s Evan was so funny that it led to a film of its own. The physical humour as well as interesting original concepts, lead to one stand out classic film that will be repeated for decades to come. And who doesn’t sometimes wonder what it’d be like to have God’s powers...
