My Top 30 Most Anticipated Films of 2012: Part 3

Hello again! This is Part 3 of My Top 30 Most Anticipated Films of 2012 which looks at films beginning with the letters E-I! Here you'll find big blockbusters and indie dramas and lots in between. Enjoy!
Great Expectations
UK Release Date: TBA
Thoughts: After the BBC's adaptation earlier this year I'm interested to see how a big screen version will fare after the perfection that the TV version was. But with Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes involved this could get quite exciting!

The Great Gatsby
UK Release Date: 25th December
Thoughts: Baz Luhrmann! Leonardo Di Caprio! Carey Mulligan! I couldn't be more excited about this! My favourite director combined with my favourite actors - it can't go wrong!

He Loves Me
UK Release Date: TBA
Thoughts: He Loves Me follows the journey of a novelist that struggles with writer's block. He decides to write about the woman he believes will love him and somehow manages to will her into existence becoming a real, living person. The buzz around this film is already quite high and I'm looking forward to seeing how this indie drama pans out.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
UK Release Date: 14th December
Thoughts: This is a big one. The prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy will finally be released this year and, while I don't pretend to particularly enjoy the franchise, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious to see Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis and many others take it on!

The Hunger Games
UK Release Date: 23rd March
Thoughts: Billed as Twilight but actually good and so naturally I'm interested to see what its all about. I've purchased the book set and can't wait to get my teeth into the series before the first film is released!

Imogene
UK Release Date: TBA
Thoughts: Imogene follows a playwright who stages a suicide in order to try to win back her ex, only instead she ends up in the care of her gambling-addict mother. It's an interesting concept but what's more interesting is that Kristen Wiig (comedic genius) will be taking on the lead role with Darren Criss also starring.
