IMDb Plot Summary: When Henry DeTamble meets Clare Abshire in a Chicago library they both understand that he is a time traveller, but she she knows much more than this about him as he has not yet been to the times and places where they have met before. He falls in love with her, as she has already with him, but his continuing unavoidable absences time travelling - and then returning with increasing knowledge of their future - makes things ever more difficult for Clare.

A Quick Review: Beautiful, tender and heart-breaking. This film is simply gorgeous. The acting from Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams especially make the film all that is. The emotions feel incredibly real, even with the sci-fi premise. The time travelling is cleverly done and makes the film entirely unpredictable which I love. The whole concept of time travel fascinates me, and this is the truest, most honest portrait of it that I have seen. It isn’t just a gimmick it is their lives, part of who they are.
I’m a big fan of the book and this is one of the few films that I feel satisfied with both versions. The emotions in the last half hour are so intense and moving it stays with you forever.
Score: 9/10
