A Quick Review: This has to be the most ridiculous, laughably unrealistic film I’v ever seen. And not particularly funny laughable either, unfortunately. No, it’s all pretty bad. Anna Faris managed to play the dumb blonde incredibly well, I’ll give her credit for that, as some of her ‘stupid’ lines were pretty amusing.
But it was Emma Stone (isn’t it always?!) that made this film bearable for me. She brought light where there was dark and brought this film out of the rubbish that it could be. Basically, don’t watch this film if you want any kind of a clever, interesting or properly enjoyable film. Watch it because it’s a movie about an ex-Playboy bunny trying to make it in the real world with the gag-inducing PG-13 ‘happy’ ending. Frankly, I expected more from the makers of Legally Blonde. But there you go...
