50 DSC: #12 A Song That You Want To Play At Your Wedding
In light of today's events todays #12 is...
A Song That You Want To Play At Your Wedding
This one was pretty hard to choose seeing as I'm so young and not planning to get married anytime soon! So I thought about the most romantic song I know and... came up with this song.
I’m Kissing You - Des’Ree
This song features in one of my favourite films - William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. What. A. Beautiful. Film.

50 DSC: #10 A Song You Can Fall Asleep To
#10 is very apt for today as I have been sleepy all day from the amount of chocolate that has been consumed!
I have always had an emotional connection with this song, so I always shut my eyes and soak in Sia's beautiful voice. A perfect one for slowly nodding off as I have done a few times in the past...

#8 A Song That You Know All The Words To
This song is kind of cheating as the lyrics are repeated so often BUT he is speaking really fast so it was no mean feat learning them all about... gosh 2 years ago now.And it's still a brilliant song!

50 DSC: #7 A Song From Your Favourite Film
Being one of the people than can never truly settle on a 'favourite' thing, let alone a favourite film being the film lover that I am, I tend to hop between favourites. Currently (and basically since last October when I saw the film) Inception is my favourite film. It just blew my mind and still does every time I watch it. Absolute movie of the year and deserved way more Oscar recognition than it did.
The song that made that film for me is today's #7: A Song From Your Favourite Film.
When this song came on in the film it gave me goosebumps, sending emotions rushing through me that I never thought possible to get while watching a film. And the best thing is the effect still hasn't worn off. The Inception soundtrack is truly magical and Hans Zimmer is a genius.
The most beautiful song in the world (and rivalling for 'A song you want played at your funeral) is...

50 DSC: #6 A Song That Reminds You Of Somewhere
#6 A song that reminds you of somewhere
End Credits - Chase & Status ft. Plan B
This song is very special to me as it sums up my life about 18 months ago. I was going through a difficult time and this song somehow spoke to me through all the madness.
The reason I've chosen it to represent 'a song that reminds you of somewhere' is that it is one of the few memories I have of me on the school bus (I didn't take it often). It was raining and the bus was half empty when this started playing on my ipod. At that one moment everything in my life made sense.
And that is why this song is so special and will forever remain so.

50 DSC: #5 A Song That Makes You Happy
:D Today's song on the 50 Day Song Challenge makes me grin every time it plays.
For me it signals the beginning of summer and although generally Autumn/Winter are my favourite seasons, Summer = freedom for me - especially now in the midst of AS revision - and I cannot wait to be free from exams and coursework!
I think it's those accordions, but I can imagine myself lying back on a Mediterranean beach listening to this (not that I've ever been to a Mediterranean beach but you get the picture!)
So click play, close your eyes and think of Summer...

It's the second day of the 50 Day Song Challenge today so to match yesterday's most favourite song, today is...
#2 Your Least Favourite Song
I literally cannot stand this song, but thankfully I don't have to hear it that often now the radio finally stopped playing it!
My least favourite song would have to be Bad Boys by Alexandra Burke.
Don't bother watching. It's terrible ;)
Look out for #3 tomorrow for A song you hate to love!

Torchwood S4 - "New series not toned down!"
I found a great interview today with John Barrowman, aka Captain Jack Harkness, star of Torchwood.
He says: "Nothing will be toned down for Starz. If anything, we're pushing the boat [out] a little bit more."
So it sounds like Torchwood will be better than ever!
