I swear this song is getting catchier and catchier! I love the groove of this song and it has a great old-school vibe that you just can't help but nod your head along to. It may be pretty different to Daft Punk's older stuff but it still has the same effect of getting firmly stuck in your head!

Calvin Harris made history today as he became the first artist to have 8 Top 10 hits from one album! I've been a fan of Calvin Harris ever since the days of 'Acceptable in the 80s' and 'The Girls' about 6 years ago and I've loved seeing him go from strength to strength. He just can't go wrong: every single one of his tracks is a hit with me and his latest one is no exception! Ellie Goulding adds a different tone from his usual style and it is certainly going to be sticking around for a while longer!

I'm currently on season 6 and it's definitely become one of my all-time favourites - I can't get enough of it! Today's Tune of the Day is of a song featured on the show that has reminded me how much I loved it back in the day! It's definitely one of those ballads you can't help but belt along with!

I was absolutely OBSESSED with this song a couple weeks back and is still a big one for me. I'm foregoing doing an official top 20 for January as I've only just done the 2012 round up. But if I had then this would almost certainly made the number one spot with only Kendrick Lamar's Backseat Freestyle being the other contender to be honest! I've had a bit of a hip hop/ rap month to be honest!

This song has soul! I was shocked to find out this was a Bruno Mars song but then I suppose I shouldn't be surprised he would progress to a much more funky, catchy-as-hell song! I just can't get enough of these old-school vibes (while being ridiculously modern at the same time - how does he do that!) and the video has that retro feel that matches the song perfectly. Love, love, love.

This is the ultimate up-beat song which is much needed in these bleak November days! A few days ago I woke up and switched on the radio and it was only when I heard the first notes of this song that a smile formed on my face and I got the kickstart I needed to actually leave the warmth of my bed! It's insanely catchy and has been floating around my head for days now. But then what Coldplay song isn't ridiculously catchy? Coldplay remain on form...

This beautiful song has been in my head all day and while it may not be new it certainly deserves every single listen it can get. I think I first appreciated it after seeing it on The Vampire Diaries a week or so ago and, I don't know, I think the emotions of the song really shone through to me.
