IMDb Plot Synopsis: Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight, though as their time together progresses, increasingly childish behavior throws the evening into chaos.

My Review: The trailer for this film is hilariously random and stars some incredible actors - my favourite being Kate Winslet. I loved the simple premise for the film. Two sets of parents stuck in a room for the entirety of the film and the ‘carnage’ that then ensues. It’s very clever as they aren’t trapped physically but mentally as it is the ‘polite’ thing to do. It really is acting at it’s best.
It’s an excellent study on social graces, parents and just grown adults really as everything is explored. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud in many places and, despite being set in one apartment, it is very well shot as it makes use of the space and it doesn’t necessarily feel like you’re just in one place as it never gets boring.
It literally goes to places you wouldn’t ever have expected and you get completely inside these characters heads, stripping away politeness and appearances. It’s funny, ridiculous at times, the chemistry between the characters is unbelievable and I’d definitely recommend it!

Score: 8/10
