IMDb Plot Summary: Every man's dream comes true for William Thacker, an unsuccessful Notting Hill bookstore owner, when Anna Scott, the world's most beautiful woman and best-liked actress, enters his shop. A little later, he still can't believe it himself, William runs into her again - this time spilling orange juice over her. Anna accepts his offer to change in his nearby apartment, and thanks him with a kiss, which seems to surprise her even more than him. Eventually, Anna and William get to know each other better over the months, but being together with the world's most wanted woman is not easy - neither around your closest friends, nor in front of the all-devouring press.

A Quick Review: Notting Hill is a classic British film.
Ultimately I loved it. I didn’t think rom-coms could get much better than Pretty Woman (which I saw a few days ago) but Notting Hill as proved otherwise! I think it has to do with it being British but also as it is more modern it just resonates more with me.
Ridiculously funny Notting Hill showcases Hugh Grant’s comedic side, along with his flatmate Spike, played by Rhys Ifans. There are so many classic moments and lines it really is the staple of all romance films. If you are not usually a fan then this is the film to start. Love, love, love: I’m so glad I watched this film!
Score: 9.5/10
