IMDb Plot Synopsis: Kate (Brittany Snow) is the new girl in school. She catches John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) dating three different girls at once: Carrie - the smart girl, Heather - the cheerleader, and Beth - the activist slut; none of them are aware that they are not the only girl in John's heart. Kate, having been raised by a single mother, has seen the pain caused by playboys like John Tucker, and she won't stand idly by. Together with the three jilted ex-girlfriends, they hatch a plan to teach John a lesson. Things rarely go as planned, especially when Kate starts to think that she might be falling for John herself.

My Review: John Tucker Must Die is the perfect friday night movie! Essentially it had a similar vibe to Mean Girls in that it’s a teen movie set in a high school and is very funny. I was wary to begin with as I thought it would be cheesy or tacky but I actually really loved it.
However I have to say it was when Penn Badgely appeared that a huge grin appeared on my face and since then pretty much remained there. It was hilarious and I adored Brittany Snow, who plays the lead girl attempting to seduce and then break the heart of the stud of the school who keeps breaking all the other girls hearts. It’s a simple but neat concept which I’d like to see done more often, as it created many fantastically funny moments.
So if you’re at all unsure about my feelings of the film I can tell you that I loved it! And ordered it off Amazon immediately afterwards!
Score: 8/10
