IMDb Plot Synopsis: A bright-eyed young actress travels to Hollywood, only to be ensnared in a dark conspiracy involving a woman who was nearly murdered, and now has amnesia because of a car crash. Eventually, both women are pulled into a psychotic illusion involving a dangerous blue box, a director named Adam Kesher, and the mysterious night club Silencio.
A Quick Review: There haven’t been many films on OrangeFilmToGo recently that have caught my eye, but this one did as it looked like a Thelma and Louise type film. I suppose it’s my fault for not looking into the film deeper but this film wasn’t what I expected at all. But that isn’t a bad thing. It was interesting, whilst being very, very dark it was oddly intriguing right up until about two thirds in when it became one of the most confusing film I have ever seen in my life. Seriously even now after trying to research what actually went on I am still in the dark. So while it was weirdly gripping I can’t say it was much good as the acting was pretty poor and and the cinematography mediocre. The only thing going for it was the mystery/sci-fi element that kept you watching, if only to work out what on earth was actually going on. But ultimately it was just way, way too long for something that doesn’t make sense.
Score: 6/10
