IMDb Plot Synopsis: Self-proclaimed stuntman Rod Kimble is preparing for the jump of his life - to clear fifteen buses to raise money for his abusive stepfather Frank's life-saving heart operation.
A Quick Review: Hot Rod is one of the funniest films I’ve seen in a very, very long time! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it until this week. It is so random but you just can’t help but laugh out loud.
Isla Fisher is one of the few well-known actors in the film but really every single member of the cast shines in their own way.
The stunts are fantastic and there’s a sweet love story between Rod and Fisher’s character but most importantly Hot Rod is one of the best feel-good films I’ve seen in ages.
You won’t be disappointed...
Score: 8.5/10
