My Review: It seems I have found myself watching a Gerard Butler movie once again! This film intrigued me when it first came out. It had the makings of the usual rom-com starring Aniston but the bounty hunter concept with the gorgeous Butler set it a little apart from the rest and I was glad to be able to finally see how it stood at last. And while it Jennifer Aniston’s performance was consistent as always Butler always seems to mix up the usual rom-com dynamic and I couldn’t help but fall for his charms once again. It wasn’t quite as good as I wanted to be but was a fun enough film nonetheless.
There was some good chemistry between them and the climax was actually quite tense. However there was a lot of cheesy ‘crime’ scenes which went on far too long, with some terribly cliche bad guys, and so it wasn’t so hard to predict. But saying that this is much more man-friendly with a great deal of action sequences offering something for guys making this a reasonably enjoyable Hollywood friday night movie.
Score: 7/10
